Meeting called to order at 6:05 pm at Diana Johnson's Gallery

Minutes from October 10, 2005 meeting read, corrected and approved. Motion to approve by Lynn McLane, second Diana Johnson; Passed unanimously. .

TREASURER’S REPORT:

A year to date financial summary was presented by Joyce from Cindy. Attached here and with 11-7-05 minutes.

Ballpark: A package was sent to Rhonda King for her help in getting the State grant.

Historical Society: After Christmas will work on project to get histories and plaques for buildings.

MCP Fundraising: Liz will pick up cookbooks.

Bruce has his CDs ready for sale- will distribute to merchants and MCP.

Talked about getting/ printing the Madrid brochure that Marianne did.

Food Depot: Running as scheduled.

Playground: No report

Ballpark Concert Series: Discussed whether we can get a copy of the report from them.

A. Gayle has permission to use the church with $500.00 additional insurance. No action was taken.

B. Merchants Meeting re Christmas:

Bethany will do the residents lighting contest. Judging will start 12/3/05

Stagecoach will come 6 days this year.

Bruce will try and contact Juan about lighting the Madrid Christmas tree.

MCP will have a float in the Christmas parade

C. Talked about the possibility of MCP doing a monthly newsletter of local events for the community, in lieu of community newspapers.

D. Denise delivered all of the records of the MCP to Joyce. She has them in storage at her house.

E. The B&B has decided to continue to maintain the highway section- the MCP does not need to change the signage, etc.

Next MCP meeting will be on the first Monday of December (12-04-05) at 6pm at Mark's house.
